Dominic Miller, widely known as Sting’s trusted guitarist and longtime collaborator, is also a highly respected solo artist with 12 albums released under his own name. As a bandleader, Miller enjoys an outstanding reputation both in the professional music world and among fans worldwide.

Born in Buenos Aires to an American father and an Irish mother, Dominic Miller studied guitar at the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston and at the Guildhall School of Music in London. Since the late 1980s, he has been an incredibly sought-after session musician. His list of collaborators is diverse and includes names such as Phil Collins, The Chieftains, Eddi Reader, Katie Melua, Bryan Adams, Paul Young, Nigel Kennedy, Peter Gabriel, and Tina Turner—just to name a few.

Dominic Miller has participated in the recording of every Sting album since The Soul Cages in 1991. He has played over a thousand concerts with Sting and co-wrote hits like Shape Of My Heart and La Belle Dame sans Regrets.

Now, with the release of his new album Vagabond, he has added another significant chapter to his solo discography. The album was recorded at La Buissonne Studio in the south of France, featuring world-class musicians Ziv Ravitz (drums), Nicolas Fiszman (bass), and Jacob Karlzon (piano). Miller has created a captivating blend of sounds combining elements of jazz, pop, acoustic folk, contemporary classical music, and Latin influences. Vagabond harmoniously merges these styles, creating something entirely new. The appropriate genre label for this symbiosis doesn’t yet exist—but we’re sure it will soon.
