Dora Morelenbaum is one of the remarkable artists at the forefront of an exciting new wave of music in Brazil. She grew up in a musical family, absorbing a sense of musicality and a love for singing from her parents. As a member of the Brazilian quartet Bala Desejo, a Latin Grammy winner, Dora radiates brilliance, opening up Brazilian music to an entirely new audience beyond the country’s borders. She has also released a solo EP, Vento de Beirada, and collaborated with artists such as Caetano Veloso, Paulo Jobim, Ana Frango Elétrico, Julia Mestre, and Dônica. Her debut album Pique was released in October 2024 in collaboration with the labels Mr Bongo (UK) and Coala Records (Brazil).
