As part of the JAZZ PO POLSKU “Warsaw Live Sessions” project, a new series of original concerts will feature leading artists from the Polish jazz scene as well as international guests.

We invite you to a special Warsaw edition of the “Tyrmand to Jazz” concert program – the only music album project in Poland inspired by the life and work of Leopold Tyrmand, created by the jazz rap band Eskaubei & Tomek Nowak Quartet. In 2025, we mark 40 years since Tyrmand’s passing, whose legacy and work continue to inspire new generations.

“Tyrmand to Jazz” is the fourth release by Eskaubei & Tomek Nowak Quartet, but the first issued on vinyl. The album draws inspiration from the writer, journalist, jazz promoter, and pop culture icon Leopold Tyrmand. Its musical layer was created by all the band members, with guest appearances by Aleksandra Tocka, Eldo, Afrojax, and Proceente. The vinyl edition was released on December 10, 2021, in three color variants, via the prestigious Junoumi Records label.

The limited yellow-and-red splatter edition sold out entirely during pre-orders, and “Tyrmand to Jazz” debuted on the OLiS chart as one of Poland’s best-selling vinyl albums.
