Keyon Harrold, Grammy Award-winning trumpeter, composer, and collaborator with a staggering list of musical greats, returns to our stage in Warsaw. This celebrated artist makes his way back to Poland at our invitation, this time with his brand-new album, Foreverland.
Foreverland is an emotionally charged, dramatic body of work — a triumphant journey through the good, the bad, the ugly, and the beautiful, ultimately leading to wisdom. “What I can offer as a musician, through my instrument,” says Harrold, “is an honest transmission of emotion.”
Harrold’s trumpet can be heard on two Grammy-winning albums: the soundtrack to Miles Ahead and Gregory Porter’s Take Me to the Alley. He was voted runner-up in JazzTimes’ “Best New Artist” poll in 2015, and none other than Wynton Marsalis called him “the future of the trumpet.”
His music lives at the crossroads of jazz tradition, the spirit of soul and R&B, and the raw energy of hip-hop — unconstrained by genre, always authentic.
