Nao Yoshioka is a Japanese soul vocalist with a powerful voice and expression honed in New York. Her music, inspired by Sam Cooke, stirs emotions and blends modernity with the history of soul. Although she is from Japan, her voice evokes legends like Aretha Franklin and Whitney Houston.
Nao gained international popularity through a viral performance on YouTube, which was watched by over 4.3 million people. She has performed at prestigious venues such as Blue Note New York and at festivals in Asia, the USA, and Australia. She is the first Japanese artist to reach number 32 on the Billboard UAC chart.
In June 2024, she released her fifth album Flow and embarked on a European tour. In 2025, she completed a tour of the U.S. East Coast. Nao Yoshioka continues to grow as a soul star, inspiring positive change through her music.
