Yazz returns with her highly anticipated fourth studio album, set to be released in February 2025 under the Night Time Stories label, further cementing her position as the “Priestess of Psychedelic Arabic Jazz.”

British-Bahraini trumpeter Yazz Ahmed is renowned for blending jazz with electronic sound design, creating her distinctive style which she calls “psychedelic Arabic jazz.” Her highly acclaimed albums include La Saboteuse (2017), praised as “captivating” and named Jazz Album of the Year by The Wire, and Polyhymnia (2019), a bold suite celebrating inspiring women, performed with a 25-piece ensemble.

In June 2019, Yazz released A Shoal of Souls, a poignant track dedicated to those who lost their lives attempting to cross the Mediterranean Sea. Her 2018 remix album La Saboteuse Remixed showcased collaborations with top European DJs, while cosmic projects like The Planets (2018) and Earth’s Reflection highlighted her creative innovation.

Now, Yazz returns with her long-awaited fourth studio album, set to be released in February 2025 by Night Time Stories, solidifying her position as the “Priestess of Psychedelic Arabic Jazz.”
