Since her debut album *Another Mind* (2003), world-renowned pianist Hiromi has continuously evolved her sound, blurring the lines between jazz and classical music, composition and improvisation. *Sonicwonderland* is her funkiest album yet.
Hiromi describes the nine-track album as ‘a new adventurous journey.’ To realize her vision, she assembled the Sonicwonder quartet: bassist Hadrien Feraud, drummer Gene Coye, and trumpeter Adam O’Farrill.
The album was recorded at the acclaimed Skywalker Sound Stage in California, following a series of concerts.
