JAZZ PO POLSKU: Dominika Czajkowska Quartet
As part of the JAZZ PO POLSKU *”Warsaw Live Sessions”* project, more original concerts featuring leading artists from the Polish jazz scene, as well as international guests, will take place.
Dominika Czajkowska – composer, pianist, and vocalist – is fascinated by film music and jazz.
Dominika Czajkowska is a singing pianist whose style is inspired by artists such as Diana Krall, Norah Jones, and Jamie Cullum. She is a recipient of prestigious awards, including 1st prize at the Transatlantyk Instant Composition Contest 2018 and the Grand Prix at the Ladies Jazz Festival 2020 in Gdynia. A graduate of the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in the Department of Sound Engineering and the Henryk Majewski Post-Secondary Jazz School in Michał Tokaj’s piano class, she has gained recognition for her debut album Północ (Midnight), praised by critics from Jazz Forum, JazzSoul.pl, and beyond.
Czajkowska is also active in the film music industry, with her compositions featured in Polish productions such as Odwilż 2 and Listy do M 6.
She is currently working on a new album, set for release in the second half of 2025. During the concert, the audience will hear pieces from Północ as well as exclusive premieres of her latest compositions.
Dominika will be accompanied by a band consisting of her longtime friends from her student days—each an outstanding musician with extensive stage and concert experience.
