As part of the JAZZ PO POLSKU “Warsaw Live Sessions” project, there will be more original concerts by leading artists of the Polish jazz scene, as well as international guests. On September 22nd (Sunday), we invite you to a special concert by Croatian guitarist Ratko Zjaca.

The award-winning guitarist, composer, and recording artist Ratko Zjača has released 17 albums under his name, which have garnered critical acclaim worldwide. He has recorded and performed with some of the most influential musicians of his generation, both in jazz and modern improvisation. In Poland, he will perform with a new lineup, featuring Cuban double bassist Rolando Abreu and Polish drummer Dominik Jaske. The artists will present their original repertoire.

Ratko Zjača studied in Rotterdam and New York. Since then, he has continuously enriched his experience through performances and recordings as both a sideman and a leader. Known as a relentless individualist, he constantly expands the sound of his guitar. He has collaborated with notable artists such as Benny Bailey, Randy Brecker, Gary Peacock, Reggie Workman, John Patitucci, Al Foster, Steve Gadd, Antonio Sanchez, John Riley, and many others.
