Eddie Chacon

The artist made a significant impact on popular music as half of the duo Charles & Eddie, whose 1992 single “Would I Lie to You” became a global number one hit. The band’s rapid career, which resulted in the sale of 8 million albums, lasted for several years. Eddie then spent the next decades developing his career as a photographer and creative director. He returned to music in 2020 with a project with John Carroll Kirby, who had also collaborated with artists like Solange and Frank Ocean. In 2022, Eddie signed with Stones Throw Records, where his album “Sundown” received widespread critical acclaim. In 2025, his new release “Lay Low,” produced by Nick Hakim, will be out.
