Uniri [Astigmatic Week]

13/09 19:00

On September 11th, a short concert series called Astigmatic Week will kick off at Jassmine, where listeners will have the opportunity to experience the diversity of bands representing this renowned Polish label. On September 13th, the group Uniri will perform with us for the first time.

Drummer and producer from North London, Chiminyo, presents *Uniri*, a visionary musical project that reflects the spirit of new beginnings.

*Uniri*, a term coined by Chiminyo, means “one united dream” and perfectly encapsulates his approach to creating this extraordinary musical endeavor. The project took shape in Chiminyo’s studio, where he invited exceptional musicians such as Amane Tsuganami (Jorja Smith, Maisha), Al Macsween (Nubya Garcia, Gary Bartz, Kefaya), and Luke Wynter (Nubyan Twist, Golden Mean) to engage in spontaneous improvisations and collective composition. These ideas, carefully shaped and produced by Chiminyo, became the foundation of their debut album *Infinite Reflections*, released in March this year by Astigmatic Records.
